An environment that is found in northern Scananavia, Siberia and North America. Where the land freezes hard in the winter but thaws in the summer. Often the ground only thaws to a depth of a few feet and remains permenantly frozen below that (Permafrost). It is the home of species like the Reindeer and the Arctic Fox.
